It's quite sturdy. I keep 4 large canisters of heavy supplies on it, 2 heavy duty clip on lamps for lighting, my computer and it's sturdy enough to lean against. It has been great for a computer work space and frees up my other desk for craft projects.
What kind of desk did you use and where did you buy it? It's quite lovely -- is it sturdy?
